The 1st home game of the season involves a lot of preparations aside from the team – Cutting the grass , tidying up around the Club, ensuring that all the volunteers from previous years together with the new people are on board to do the necessary jobs on match day. This year was no different. We would like to thank all involved in the preparations and weren’t they all worth while! This year a team of people put a lot of effort into getting pitch sponsorship and all the signs were up for our 1st home game as promised. Dearbhla Scallon, the Senior Scór County Champion, started off the day with Amhrán na bhFiann. The Senior game v Cookstown was played first. After a hard fought game they came out on top with a  final score of 1- 10 to 0-5. Between the Senior and Reserve games the U 10s showed the spectators their skills on the pitch. There was great encouragement from the sidelines as the Seniors remained on the pitch to watch their game . The final game of the day was the Reserves. It was also a very entertaining game which ended with a very high score of  7- 11 to 5- 6. Let’s continue this level of support for our current senior teams !
