Senior Football

Senior footballer’s good form continued at the weekend with a great win against Greencastle, 0.10 to 0.02, maintaining our position at 2nd in the league. Reserves were defeated by table-topping Greencastle. There is no senior football this weekend.

Reserve Championship

Reserves take on Cookstown in the first round of the Division 2 Reserve Championship at home on Friday evening (22nd June).

Scór Celebration Event

Keep free Sunday 1st of July from 8:00pm for our Scór Celebration event celebrating Dearbhla Scallon’s amazing achievements earlier this year becoming Tyrone, Ulster & All-Ireland Scór Sinsir Champion in Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing)! Entrance is free for a concert followed by a Sessiun!

Stormont Lobby

We launch our lobby for additional investment in the central Sperrin’s next Tuesday (26th June) at 2pm. This will take place at the Long Gallery in Stormont will where the refreshments will be served. The launch will take 1 hour and consists of a short intro and discussion panel of key local representatives making our case. There has been a positive response from Government Departments and key officials will be in attendance.

This event will only be effective if we demonstrate the strength of support for our case! We need a group of people to attend as representatives from the Gortin Area. Please put your name forward and persuade a friend to attend.

Youth Football

Youth training continues on Friday evenings from 6:30pm for U6 to U10s. 

U12s take on Glenelly in Plumbridge on Thursday evening.

U14s are through to both League and Champion Semi-finals. They take on Coalisland in the Championship on Saturday at 10:30am, venue TBC.

Minors play in the League Quarter-final v Rock away on tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 7:00pm with their Championship Quarter-final scheduled for next Tuesday, TBC. 

Tyrone GAA Summer Camp

Gortin Week 5: 30^th July – 2^nd August

Early registration ends on 30th June at 11:00am, after which the late registration fee applies (£5 per child) to all Club Tyrone Camps. Bookings can be made through the following link Book Summer Camp.

Bingo in Gortin on Saturday nights at 9:00pm with guaranteed prizes, books £8 and half-price for U16s.
