Help us ….. Help the GAA in Tyrone

and help yourself at the same time!

Tyrone’s 2013 summer camps are just around the corner.  It might be stating the obvious but summer camps without coaches don’t do a lot to develop the GAA in Tyrone!  The camps will commence on Monday 1st July and will run for eight consecutive weeks.  The summer of 2013 will see us run our largest ever summer camp programme, consisting of 56 camps.

We require a large number of quality coaches, football, hurling and handball, to make our summer camps a success.  All coaches who have completed their foundation level coaching award and are actively coaching within their Club are eligible to work at the summer camps.  If you are interested in some worthwhile and well organised summer work close to home, then we’d like to hear from you!

There will be a training day for all summer camp coaches in the Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey on Saturday 8th June from 9:30am – 12:00pm. Only those in attendance will be considered for summer camp coaching.  All coaches are requested to bring suitable gear for going outdoors.

All coaches must be Access NI vetted through Tyrone GAA, if this is your first year of being involved in our camps please contact Anne at the email address below. The deadline for completing the vetting process in Friday 31st May.
