A very big thank you to all who cycled for St. Patrick’s Gortin GAC on Sunday, and to those who helped in any way – our sponsors, all volunteers, those who sponsored our cyclists and all who made the St Patrick’s Day Cycle another great success. Congratulations to our Top Sponsorship Prize Winners, Brenda Curtis who is off to Dublin for the National League Final, and Junior Winners Roisin Brogan and Cian McConnell who now have new bikes courtesy of Caldwells. Also very well done to Junior runners-up Liam Og Mossey and Dearbhla McDonald. Keep cycling as we will be back again next year with a re-vamped event format. Your support is very much appreciated. Last man standing was won at the weekend by Jamie Douglas who collects £500 and the seller Michael Mossey collects £100. Thanks to all who supported this event and to Mark Mc Connell who coordinated.  The Minors were defeated by Clann na nGael on Saturday. Their next game is away to Glenelly on Tuesday 2 April @ 6:45pm. The U 14s had a convincing win at the weekend over Naomh Pádraig. They now host An Eaglais Naomh Pádraig on Saturday @ 1pm. All support welcome for all the youth games. Training as usual this week. If anyone still has not paid their membership please contact Gerard Meenan as soon as possible .  Bingo every Saturday night. In order to maintain the prizes at £100 houses we need to maintain the crowd. Please come along and bring a friend. Last week’s lotto numbers were 3, 11, 25, 26 and 30. Eleven people had 3 numbers . The Jackpot remains at £10,000. Tickets are available from all the usual outlets. Congratulations to Peter Mossey who received one of the Gradaim an Uachtaráin President’s awards on Friday night, in Dublin, for his service and promotion of 3rd level Gaelic games .
