This is a very busy week for the Club with the Seniors in the Championship replay in Newtownstewart on Wednesday @ 8:15pm, the Minors in the League 1/4 final against Fintona on Thursday @ 7:30pm in Gortin and the Seniors and Reserves hosting Derrylaughan on Friday night @ 6:45 and 8:15pm. The Minors are also down to play Beragh in the Championship on Sunday evening. Please keep up to date with Club activities on the website https://www.gortingaa.ie/ as there will possibly be changes throughout the week. The U 12s travel to Aghyaran on Monday 7 July. Cars leave Gortin @ 6pm. The U8s, 10s and 12s will have a break from training from now until Friday 18 July. The U 8s will then have a Blitz on the 19 July. Bingo on Saturday night will have 5 x £100 houses guaranteed. The workers for the next 2 weeks are – Bingo:- Billy Doherty, Checkers:- Harry Keenan and Brian Muldoon, Lotto:- Gabriel, Anne Marie and Ruairí O’ Neill and Chairs:- Barry Daly & Ruairí Keenan. If anyone is unavailable please arrange to have a replacement worker attend. Last week’s numbers were 6, 22, 27, 28 and 30. Dónal Keenan had 4 numbers and collected £100. As announced last week the Parish and Club are joining forces for the annual Golf Classic. This will be held in Strabane Golf Club on Sunday 20 July.There are opportunities to show support for the Gortin Rouskey Golf by sponsorship of a green (£30) or a tee ( £50). Tee times are bookable with Strabane Golf Club on 028 71 382271. Entry fees for both the individual event (£20 p.p.) and the 4 Ball competition (£25 p.p.) are payable on the day of the event. A special Strabane Golf Club member rate applies. Details of the prizes will be announced shortly.
