On Saturday the Club hosted the Dr. Sean Muldoon Memorial Tournament for Reserves. Dr. Muldoon was a former Chairman of An Goirtín Naomh Pádraig and a Club stalwart. Teams came from Greencastle, Glenelly, Newtownstewart and Gortin – the surrounding areas which received the care and attention from Dr. Muldoon over many years when he was in practice. All teams played each other, with games going on both Billy’s and the main pitch. Peter Muldoon, one of Dr. Muldoon’s sons, was there to present the winning team, Greencastle, with the Trophy. He also presented Chrissy Gillen from Greencastle with a trophy for player of the Tournament.
