The last talk in the series Sraith Léachtaí An Earraigh, organised by the Irish Language and Good Relation Units of Omagh District Council will take place in the Tyrone GAA Garvaghey Centre on Tuesday 4 March at 7:30pm.  It will be given by Donal Mc Anallen who is the Cultural Education and Outreach Officer of Comhairle Uladh CLG, the Ulster Council of the GAA.
In his talk entitled Irish Language and Culture Promotion in the GAA,Donal will explore the promotion of the GAA and other cultural bodies at a local level, both in the past and in the present. He will outline opportunities for clubs and local groups to promote the language in their communities, as well as the benefits that may be derived from such initiatives.  The talk will be given in English and admission is free.  Further information from [email protected] Tel 028 82256220.
