The weekend brought mixed results for Both Domhnaigh teams with the U14s defeating Kildress ( 9- 10 to 5-9 ) and the Minors were defeated by Aghyaran ( 3-7 to 3- 12 ). This week the U14s are away to Drumragh on Saturday morning for an 11 am throw in. The Minors are away to Owen Roes also on Saturday @ 1:45pm.The annual St. Patrick’s Day cycle takes on a new route this year. All cyclists can register on the morning in the Community Centre from 8am for the 60 mile, from 9am for the 30 mile and from 11am for the fun cycle. £10 per adult and £5 for U18s. All cyclists welcome. Volunteers are required for the day. If anyone has a few free hours please contact Nigel before Monday when there will be a short meeting for volunteers. A number of people wanted to rekindle their youth and take up Irish team dancing again. Lindsay Mc Crory will take a class, with a twist, in Gortin Rouskey Social Centre, where the majority of us learned to dance. The classes start this Thursday 5 March @ 7:30pm. Entrance fee £4 per class. Everyone welcome. What better way to exercise and have a bit of craic! Membership is still being collected. All players must pay membership to play. £25 per adult, £15 for student and £5 for U16s. If anyone wishes to do the lotto for 1 year, either by direct debit or pay £100 then membership is free. Tickets for the All Ireland Championship Series can only be requested by fully paid up members. Scholarships are available from the Club if anyone is interested in going to the Gaeltacht this summer. Please apply in writing to Margaret Keenan by 11 April. Bingo as usual every Saturday night. Last week’s lotto numbers were 3, 15, 24, 25 and 29. Twelve people had 3 numbers. The Jackpot remains at £10,000 and the Reserve is currently £8,950. The rota for workers for Bingo & Lotto for 2015 is now on the website. If anyone needs to change on their allocated night please arrange a replacement worker.
