Thanks to all who attended the Club Mass and Big Breakfast. As usual so many people put a lot of effort to ensure that our events run successfully. Thanks to those who made the fresh scone bread , to the Pedlar’s Rest who cooked the breakfast and to everyone else who helped in any way. Membership can still be paid- we are offering the same package as last year- Pay 2 lines of lotto either by direct debit monthly or £100 for the Annual lotto and get free membership. We have maintained last year’s rates for membership to reward our loyal members – £25 for Adult, £15 for student and £5 for U16. Players must ensure that membership is paid as soon as possible. On Saturday the U14 Badoney team begin their league campaign against Kildress in Glenelly @ 11am on Saturday morning. All players should be in the changing rooms @ 10:30am. The Minor League begins with a game against Aghyaran on Sunday @ 3:30pm in Gortin. All players should be in the Clubrooms by 3pm. After last year’s successful Easter Camp we will hold a camp on Easter Monday and Tuesday 6th/7th April – Cost £15 to include bootbag/t shirt/silicon band/waterbottle with Gortin crest. Further details to follow. As part of our experiencing our culture we have decided to run a class for adult Irish Dancing in Gortin Rouskey Social Centre on Thursday night @ 7:30pm. Everyone welcome and bring friends! Entrance fee £4 per class. Our annual Charity Cycle will be held on St. Patrick’s day from the Community centre. This year the routes have been changed. Registration £10 on the morning of the cycle. See website for further details. www.gortingaa.ie. Last week’s lotto numbers were 7, 18, 23, 24 and 28. Kathleen Ward had 4 numbers and won £100. The Jackpot is capped at £10,000 and the Reserve has reached £8,900.
